Outdoor Rec at Manchester Youth Zone

As we wrap up the third quarter of 2026, we wanted to share a quick update on what’s been happening at Manchester Youth Zone and thank you for the continued support that makes our work possible.

Thanks to your support, the first months of the year have already been busy and impactful. Between July and September we have:

  • Welcomed 2580 individual young people through our doors
  • Served 7455 hot meals
  • Delivered 94 hours of youth provision and mentoring

Every number represents a young person finding a safe place, positive role models and opportunities to thrive.

The Big Give

Manchester Youth Zone is planning the best Christmas ever!

We are taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, and this year we are aiming for our biggest target yet. MYZ is aiming to raise £30,000 during challenge week to support local children and young people.

The Christmas Challenge is important for work we do all year round, as well as to help us bring Christmas joy to our members and their families through festive activities, gifts for young people and experiences such as Breakfast with Santa. Together, this support will help us offer both the everyday opportunities young people rely on and special moments that make Christmas memorable.

Ahead of challenge week, we are planning a range of fundraising activities to bring businesses and the wider community together. But funds can only be donated during the first week of December.

Keep your eyes peeled as we will be sending reminds and links to support us and the young people of north Manchester this Christmas!

Thank you

Thank you again for being part of the Manchester Youth Zone community. We’ll be back with another update in the next quarter to share more stories and impact from the year so far.

With gratitude,

The Manchester Youth Zone Team
