94% of our young people live in some of the UK’s most deprived areas, often facing barriers such as poor mental health, systemic inequalities, and limited opportunities. Around 60% come from a BAME background, and 11% of our 16–18 year-olds are not currently in education, employment or training.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Manchester Youth Zone over the course of our three year partnership, as part of our 5 million Futures social impact strategy. Our partnership facilitated a broad range of rewarding volunteering opportunities of scale for many of our Deloitte colleagues to get involved with.
Over the course of our partnership we have held numerous fundraisers, impact volunteering days and hosted in-person training sessions for the young people that MYZ support.

Our mission has always been to make a positive impact on people’s lives
Our mission at Car Finance 247 has always been to make a positive impact on people’s lives - not just for our customers, but our local community as well. We have supported MYZ for many years, playing our part in creating opportunities that empower young people for a brighter future. From matching donations during last year's "247 Match Week" and taking part in make a difference days, to pushing our Bee Fit 247 initiative by organising fitness and wellbeing sessions for the young people. MYZ is a charity that has always been and will continue to be incredibly close to our hearts.

The Calisen Impact Charitable Trust is honoured to be supporting Calisen Group's financial support over many years including funding 10,000 free hot meals and sponsoring three-day adventure holidays for families, addressing food insecurity and promoting well-being among young people. Beyond financial support, the Calisen Group has organised Industry Insight Days and Work Safari sessions, providing MYZ members with firsthand exposure to various career paths within the company.

What does becoming a Patron of Manchester Youth Zone mean?
Becoming a Patron means joining a community of influential supporters committed to changing young lives in North Manchester. Patrons provide sustained financial backing that ensures MYZ can sustainably deliver year-round youth services and opportunities.
Is there a minimum donation or commitment period to become a Patron?
Patron donations begin at £6,000 per year as per our current donor level packages and all Patrons contribute a set annual or multi-year donation, allowing MYZ to plan long-term programmes with confidence.
How is my Patron donation used?
Your donation directly funds youth programmes, mentoring, mental health support, hot meals, and access to sports, arts, and employment opportunities, all within our safe, purpose-built youth zone. If you have a particular project or area in mind your donation can fund this also.
Can I visit Manchester Youth Zone to see the impact of my support?
Absolutely. Patrons are invited to exclusive tours, events, and engagement sessions where they can meet the young people and youth workers benefiting from their support. Our donor level packages offer guidelines on what businesses receive in return for their donation.
Will my company be recognised for supporting MYZ as a Patron?
Yes, Patrons receive recognition across MYZ materials (if desired), event invitations, and the opportunity to be featured as part of our community of changemakers in our physical and digital booklet, with benefits varying by donation level.

Make MYZ your Charity of the Year
Becoming our Charity of the Year partner means your company and staff will be at the heart of Manchester Youth Zone for 12 months, raising vital funds and awareness to support young people in North Manchester.
Rather than committing to a set donation level, your team fundraises through events, challenges, and creative activities. In return, we’ll work closely with you to make the partnership fun, engaging, and impactful for your employees while creating meaningful change for the community.

What does it mean to choose Manchester Youth Zone as our Charity of the Year?
It means your business will partner with MYZ for 12 months or more to raise vital funds and engage your employees in making a lasting impact on young people in North Manchester. Through internal events or by taking part in MYZ-arranged events, your team will raise funds and help us raise awareness of the work we do in North Manchester.
What kind of support or events can our business get involved in?
Your team can create or find your own fundraisers and events to get involved in, from sporting activities to workplace challenges, quizzes, bingo nights and more. We can also help tailor opportunities to your team if you require. You’ll also have access to organised events such as the Manchester 10k, Half Marathon and cycle rides, all at reduced entry fees with a commitment to fundraise for us.
How does MYZ support our Charity of the Year campaign?
You’ll receive dedicated partnership support, marketing materials, staff briefings, and social media promotion to help bring your campaign to life and celebrate your achievements.
