It’s great to support a charity doing such impactful work right on our doorstep

It’s been a pleasure working with MYZ over the past few years. As a Manchester-based office, it’s great to support a charity doing such impactful work right on our doorstep. I’ve personally taken part in fundraising activities like the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for MYZ, making it that bit easier knowing you're doing it for a good cause. I’ve also had the chance to visit the site and see first-hand the amazing facilities and the impact they’re having. It’s clear how much they’re doing to support young people in the area, and I’m proud that SEFE energy is supporting that to continue.

Getting involved with Manchester Youth Zone has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve done.

Earlier this year, I helped organise and take part in a fundraising event with a few colleagues from the Manchester Insurance Market — we took on the Derbyshire 3 peaks challenge which involved 21 miles, roughly 50k steps and a total time of 9 hours!

I chose to support MYZ because the work they do is unbelievable.  I grew up in North Manchester and it has shaped who I am today which is why I find it difficult to stomach that some kids from the same areas might not get the same opportunities that I had. MYZ goes a very long way to ensuring they do have these opportunities.
