We’re recruiting a STEM Youth Worker to work on our existing Makers Zone project. The successful applicant will be a part of Manchester Youth Zone’s STEM offer ensuring all young people (from the age of 8 to 19, or 25 with additional needs) have access to our range of projects within Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. This post is key to supporting young people develop soft skills such as communication, confidence, trying and learning, work behaviours and patterns, and levelling up young people’s access to starting their own businesses. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering targeted programmes in settings that include centre-based and one-to-one mentoring support, with particular targets set for funded projects, such as the Onside Makers Zone contract.

We are seeking a dedicated and creative Dance Youth Worker in building an exciting, inclusive dance programme from the ground up. We want someone who truly knows what’s current, whether it’s the latest TikTok trends or the freshest choreography, and has the passion to turn the dance studio into a hub of energy and self-expression. At Manchester Youth Zone, you won’t just be teaching steps, you will be a mentor and advocate, listening to what our young people want and taking action to deliver it. This is a unique opportunity to use dance as a tool for youth work, fostering personal development and creating a safe, supportive environment where every young person feels empowered to find their rhythm and grow.

We’re looking for a Football Coach with a passion for football and multi-sport and excellent communication skills able to deliver football sessions and a range of other exciting activities to young people that challenge, stimulate and provide them with new opportunities. Our 3G Pitch is one of the most popular spaces in our centre, and as such is an integral part of our delivery.
