We offer Young People a chance to be themselves!

Your children have a safe space at Manchester Youth Zone that they can come to after school, meet positive role models, get something warm and nutritious to eat, and most importantly have fun!

The entire MYZ Team is DBS-checked, which includes volunteers. We do not tolerate any bullying, oppressive or aggressive behaviour. We are here to inspire young people to be the best they can be and make our community a better place too.

When a young person with additional needs joins the Youth Zone, they and their parents/carers will be invited to have a quick chat with one of our inclusion team members, so they can ask any questions and we can establish how best to support them. Our staff and volunteers are trained to support young people with additional needs and disabilities with respect. Please note that currently our staff are unable to offer personal care, however, parents or carers are welcome to join their child on session.
