Together Money Graduates’ Auction Raises over £2000 for MYZ!

A few months ago we shared the story of graduates from Together Money – Dina, Diana, and Michelle – undertaking the Gold Paperclip Challenge! The graduates started with a gold paperclip, and they were tasked with trading their paperclip for other items of increasing value which they would auction to raise money for Manchester Youth Zone!

Their target was to raise £1333, which is how much it costs to run one single session at the Youth Zone.

Dina, Diana, and Michelle hosted an event at The Atrium to celebrate the success of their online auction, and invited our CEO Richard Marsh and some of our young people to share stories about the work we do at Manchester Youth Zone.

The auction raised an impressive £1636! – and what would a charity fundraiser be without a raffle!? All in all, Dina, Diana and Michelle helped raise a total of £2035 for Manchester Youth Zone!

We’d like to say a massive thank you to Dina, Diana and Michelle – as well as Together Money for kindly supporting the graduates and taking part with the auction and raffle – for everything they’ve done for us!

You can follow their journey here and check out the impressive auction collection they acquired by trading paperclips here!
