Our friend and colleague, Mike Doran.
It is with great sadness that we learnt on Saturday morning that Mike had passed away in hospital following a three week battle with COVID-19. From all at Manchester Youth Zone, we send our deepest condolences and prayers to his family, friends and all those at Mahdlo Youth Zone where Mike was CEO.
Throughout his life Mike made such a massive difference to the lives of young people and those with additional needs. He was passionate and thoughtful in all that he did, always striving for excellence.
As a person Mike had a great sense of humour and was such a generous and dependable person to work alongside, always willing to share his wise expertise to those who asked.
Mike will be remembered with fondness at Manchester Youth Zone as a real friend who was generous in his support in making a difference to communities and people’s lives.
