On Friday 23rd August, ANS kindly arranged to take a group of young people to Chester Zoo. The sun was shining and as the school holidays came to an end, it was great to see both our Juniors and Seniors enjoying a different activity.
For many of the group, it was their first trip to the Zoo and it was great to see the smile on their faces as they walked around looking at the animals. A particular highlight for them was the bat cave, which they asked to go back in to more than once.
It was a fantastic day enjoyed by everyone and Alex, a Junior member who came along had the following message for ANS:
“Thank you so much for taking us to Chester Zoo. My favourite part of the day was meeting new people and seeing giraffes for the first time!”
